About Corazon

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog. My name is Brad Hart. I grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado but now live in beautiful Colorado Springs with my wild but cool family. The purpose of this blog is to serve as a quasi-journal of sorts. I am a HUGE history buff, as is evidenced by the majority of this blog's material. In 2007 I earned my Bachelor of Arts in History from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University) and my Master's in History from the University of Colorado in 2009. My main areas of interest are early American, Medieval and religious history.

But this blog isn't all about history. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) I also write some material on church theology, history and other personal reflections. I served a two-year mission for my church in the Chile, Antofagasta Mission from 1997-1999, and have served in a number of other callings (church responsibilities) throughout the years. I firmly believe that Mormon history and theology is worthy of scholarly dissection and I try to do that here from time to time.

In addition, I try to use this blog to catalog my family's various trips, parties, holidays, birthdays and other miscellaneous activities. In short, this blog is about whatever interests me at the moment. Thank you for visiting and feel free to comment. I can also be reached via email at: bradhart78@gmail.com
